Then in Windows load up Bluetooth system settings by pressing Windows logo on your existing keyboard and type Bluetooth and other devices settings. ![]() First off, let’s turn on the Magic Keyboard 2. After about a minute, the keyboard disappears from the listed bluetooth devices. Pairing an Apple Magic keyboard with Window 11 and 10 is pretty easy, but not documented by Apple for obvious reasons. This installs the keyboard momentarily, but it is never responsive. As I mentioned above, I've also tried the method whereby you add a new bluetooth device and right-click the device, choose properties from the drop-down menu and select the HID driver for keyboards and mice. I've attempted to install my keyboard using the regular passkey method, and that achieves momentary success. ![]() I was even able to have it install and remain installed upon restart, but for some reason my computer would then not recognize my bluetooth mouse. The most success I attain is getting the keyboard working for several minutes until it decides to disconnect. ![]() I've attempted to install my apple bluetooth keyboard in Windows 7 in bootcamp (I'm running Leopard 10.6.2) and I've followed the above suggestions without any success. ![]()
